Behavior, Expectations, Rewards, & Consequences

All students are expected to follow Sycamore Canyon School rules. These can be found in detail in your agenda/planner. In addition, all students are expected to be polite, cooperative, responsible, and attentive during class time and school events including assemblies and field trips. All students are expected to treat others with respect, kindness, fairness, and compassion—essentially, treat others how they want to be treated.

I Expect That You Will

• Listen and follow directions.

• Be Polite.  Be Cooperative.  Be responsible.  Be attentive.  Be resourceful.  Inside and outside of the classroom. 

• Be academic and scholarly.

• Be academically honest.

• Dress appropriately every day.

• Work hard and do your best.

Rewards

Following, meeting, or exceeding expectations can result with:

• Verbal praise.

• Raffle Rewards.

• Sticky Dots for the Pyramid.

Consequences

Not following or not meeting expectations could result in:

• My disappointment.

• A verbal warning.

• Detention(s).

• Referral to the assistant principal.

• Multiple offenses will affect your trimester citizenship grade.
